What's a New Start?
A New Start is, just as the name implies, a blank slate that you get to design your dream home upon and watch it be built from the ground up!
While it's not a fully custom home, you do have the opportunity to personalize one of our floor plans to suit your style!
So what choices do I get to make?
Think of the design options like a menu at your favorite restaurant. The chef, while very talented, can't make just anything for you . However, you can take a look at the menu and order anything you want!
Now let's apply that metaphor to the New Start process. We can't make any change that you ask for due to our efficiency standards, however, you still have over 100 options on the menu that you can mix and match as you please to create your dream home!
We give our buyers the opportunity to hand-pick their finishes from a beautiful list of options curated by our design team. Here's a quick list of some of the categories: cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, brick, garage doors, and more!

What does this process look like?
We pride ourselves on making the New Start Process simple! From start to finish it typically takes 8 months with a timeline similar to this:
- Month 1: Choose your lot and design options
- Month 2: Land development and Pre-Construction Overview
- Month 3: Construction begins
- Month 7: Prepare for Closing
- Month 8: New Home Orientation and Closing Day!
